Eligibility
To be eligible for the IOTF fellowship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident, who has resided in the United States for a total of three of the five past years
- Meet the education requirements for the indicated track.
- Track 1 — Must be accepted in the NIH Hematology Oncology Program
- Track 2 — Must be Board Certified in Oncology and have completed a clinical residency or fellowship.
- Track 3 — Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or Ph.D./M.D., with at least one year of postdoctoral experience
- Track 4 — Must be already accepted in the NCI Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program
- Must agree to the FDA Ethics for Non-Employee Scientists. Specifically:
If an NCI - FDA IOTF Fellow, to include their spouse and minor children, reports what is identified as a Significantly Regulated Organization (SRO) or prohibited investment fund financial interest in any amount, or a relationship with an SRO, except for spousal employment with an SRO, and the individual will not voluntarily divest the financial interest or terminate the relationship, then the individual is not placed at FDA.
